		<description>Well, you &lt;em&gt;could&lt;/em&gt; argue that identity starts when the &lt;em&gt;physical&lt;/em&gt; distinction begins, which is pretty early, or later, when brain function begins.  Either way, I believe brain function begins pretty early -- a few weeks into the pregnancy.  The fetus at that very early point is mentally the equivalent of a catatonic, but progresses from there.  Dare I say, it&#039;s all a case of where you draw the line.</description>
