Synchronicity

A NOLA expatriate friend sent me this shot she took in Montgomery, Alabama:

Her email reads: “I think my steak might be a little chewy….”

    Chewy? No, I don’t think so. Not very well aged, though.

    I got a good one. There’s a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall near where I work that’s sandwiched between, believe it or not, a pet store and an animal hospital. The lunch buffet is surprisingly good, though the mongolian “beef” is a bit tough.
