		<description>It's easy to do and you don't need a plugin. Go to your WordPress Options, click on the Permalinks tab and select the type of permalink structure you want to use. If your .htaccess file is writable, it will automatically do the conversion for you. If it's not, WordPress will generate the appropriate code for you to cut and paste into your .htaccess file. That's all there is to it.

As for filtering spam, I can't praise Askimet highly enough.</description>
