Can he even pronounce “lawyerly”?

Public Radio program This American Life laments President Bush’s… well, I’ll let them say it:

Host Ira Glass talks with Yale law professor Jack Balkin about what he calls the Bush Administration’s “lawyering style,” a tendency to fight as hard as it can, on all fronts, to get what it wants.

Definitely a Bush thing. Those Clintons were complete pushovers.

(Okay, you could argue that it’s not the show, it’s the guest making the argument. But really, was NPR running these kinds of topics when Bill was in the White House?)
